About The Position

Ready to suit up as a Mobile Security Guard? What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk and act accordingly. Your keen sense of observation and strong social skills are your greatest strengths. As a Mobile Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling various environments such as retail stores, private property, security facility centers, etc.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Live in or around Ottawa, Ontario
• Hold a valid G Class Driver's License and a clean driving record
• Hold a valid security license
• First aid certification
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift

Responsibilities

• Patrol critical areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Check identification and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents and document actions taken
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Handle alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Partner with law enforcement during serious incidents
