About The Position

ExamOne, a Quest Diagnostics company, is seeking a field-based Mobile Phlebotomist / Examiner in Ohio. The role provides services in clients’ homes or workplaces and may also involve working in company centers. It requires local travel and offers flexibility to manage availability in a dynamic environment.

The Mobile Examiner conducts basic vital-sign checks, records medical histories, and performs venipunctures, urine collections, and EKGs as applicable. The role also manages specimens, uses company technology to confirm appointments and update case statuses, and uploads completed exams to a portal within 24–48 hours. Additional duties include inventory support, maintaining clean workspaces, dispatching calls, and occasionally mentoring new team members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active phlebotomy or medical assistant certification, based on state requirements.
• At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience, including at least 100 documented successful blood draws.
• Experience with pediatric and geriatric patients, urine collection, and EKG administration.
• Internet access, a computer, and a printer.
• Valid driver’s license and at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Motor Vehicle Record with no more than 2 moving-violation convictions in the previous 36 months and none in the most recent 12 months.
• Detail-oriented, tech-savvy, adaptable, independent, compliant, and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Conduct exams at individuals’ homes or workplaces.
• Take basic vital signs and record medical histories.
• Perform venipunctures, urine collections, and EKGs as applicable.
• Label, centrifuge, split, and package specimens for safe, timely transport.
• Travel locally to meet clients and provide customer service.
• Use company technology to confirm appointments, update case statuses, and upload completed exams to the portal within 24–48 hours.
• Assist with inventory and maintain clean workspaces.
• Dispatch calls and occasionally mentor new team members.
