About The Position

We are currently seeking Mobile Phlebotomists and Health Screeners to join our team in San Francisco, CA. eHealthScreenings, a Premise Health Company, specializes in national biometric screenings and has exciting opportunities for these roles. These positions are as-needed opportunities offering flexibility in scheduling and highly competitive pay. You will be sent to local companies within your area to perform health screenings for their employees.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Previous venipuncture and/or fingerstick experience
  • Ability to use a manual blood pressure cuff
  • Tech savvy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Current national certification in Phlebotomy from a Premise Health approved organization OR one of the following: Certificate/Diploma and Transcripts from an accredited Phlebotomy program
  • Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or Associate degree (A.S.) is required
  • Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
  • Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
  • At least three years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in an occupational health clinic, emergency room, or other ambulatory care clinic
  • Experience in strategies to promote and maintain healthy, safe, and productive workplaces, including: partners to identify/mitigate workplace hazards, health screenings/education, fitness for duty, and return to work exam

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
  • Certification in Occupational Health (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services

Responsibilities

  • Perform and record biometric testing results including, but not limited to height, weight, blood pressure, body fat, and BMI (Body Mass Index)
  • Blood testing including fingerstick and / or venipuncture blood draws in a fast-paced environment
  • Preparation of specimens for storage or additional processing
  • Set up and break down portable blood draw / biometric station(s)
  • May need to transport supplies to and from health screening events (lifting up to 20 lbs.)
  • Maintains the logs and records for all Laboratory transactions and information in accordance with department and regulatory requirements
  • Must have morning availability (Monday-Friday) for event-based employment
  • May require other duties as assigned
