About The Position
Asset Risk Inc. is seeking a mobile Phlebotomist to collect blood samples from patients who already have their kits. This role involves collecting and sending samples; centrifuging is not required. Reliable transportation is required. Compensation is per successful blood draw, ranging from $30 to $40 per patient depending on experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician.
- Knowledge of best practices in patient identification methods.
- Familiarity with legal requirements regarding blood draws and fluid samples.
- Reliable transportation.
Nice To Haves
- Phlebotomy certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize sample collection requests based on urgency.
- Collect patients’ personal information.
- Determine the correct venipuncture method for each patient.
- Reassure patients during the collection process.
- Use sterilized needles, vials, and other equipment to draw blood.
- Correctly label samples and send them for testing.
- Do not send back needles with any blood draw.
