About The Position

American Health Associates is the nation’s largest clinical reference laboratory dedicated to long-term care — bringing 35 years of diagnostic excellence to patients in 2,500 healthcare facilities nationwide, powered by 14 full-service, CAP-accredited laboratories. Our mission is simple: empower patients with better diagnostics, wherever they are. Our mobile team is how care gets home. We’re seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to join our growing team serving patients throughout the Cleveland/Akron region — visiting patient homes, skilled nursing and assisted living communities, and bringing quality laboratory services directly to the people who need them most.

Requirements

  • Phlebotomy certification preferred; minimum one year of phlebotomy experience preferred
  • Strong venipuncture skills, especially with elderly patients
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, current auto insurance (100/300/100), and age 21+
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • The self-direction to work independently and manage a flexible schedule

Responsibilities

  • Travel to patient homes, nursing and assisted living facilities, and other healthcare locations across Northeast Ohio
  • Collect blood specimens using expert venipuncture and capillary collection techniques
  • Verify patient identification and ensure accurate specimen labeling, integrity, and transport
  • Provide professional, compassionate service to elderly patients and healthcare partners
  • Complete required documentation and communicate clearly with laboratory and facility staff
