The Mobile Phlebotomist will drive their personal vehicle to client facilities, primarily nursing homes, to obtain blood samples from patients. This role requires adherence to established phlebotomy procedures, accurate patient identification, proper specimen labeling and transport, and maintaining patient confidentiality. The phlebotomist will also be responsible for planning draw schedules, completing required documentation, and maintaining equipment. Communication with dispatch and other departments is essential, as is prompt response to a company-issued mobile device and notification of availability for future assignments. The role also includes performing other duties as assigned by the Area Phlebotomy Supervisor.
