About The Position

Bark & Mane is a luxury mobile pet grooming startup in Los Angeles, offering white-glove, one-on-one grooming services to discerning pet parents. We are hiring a founding groomer to help establish premium mobile grooming standards. This role emphasizes artistry and client experience over volume, with no cages or crowded shops. The position is ideal for a groomer who is confident with cats, as feline grooming is preferred and rare. As a founding groomer, there is a clear path to leadership roles like lead groomer and trainer as the company expands.

Requirements

3+ years of professional grooming experience (salon or mobile).
Skilled and comfortable grooming cats.
Confident across all breeds and sizes, including breed-standard and stylized cuts.
A craftsperson's eye, professionalism, warmth with clients, and a genuine love of animals.
Ambitious and eager to contribute to a growing brand.
A valid California driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
Able to perform the essential functions of mobile grooming, including safely handling and lifting pets.
Authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

AKC S.A.F.E. certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Full-service premium grooming for dogs and cats of every breed and size, including bath, breed-standard and stylized cuts, nails, and ears.
Deliver the signature Well-Being WrapUp on every pet.
Act as the brand ambassador, building relationships with clients and their pets.
Drive and maintain the grooming van safely within the service area.
