BUILD, Inc. (Broader Urban Involvement and Leadership Development) is presently seeking a committed, self-motivated, and innovative individual to join our team. The Mobile Mental Health Crisis Specialist (MMHCS) will provide emotional support and services to youth and their families who are victims of crime and/or homicide through the process of assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating options and services required to meet the client’s service plan needs and goals. Services include but are not limited to connecting clients with additional critical resources, such as mental health care, medical care, legal services, victim’s rights and/or compensation, funeral planning and vigils, interpretation services, workforce development, and financial education. Basic needs such as emergency financial assistance, childcare, transportation, housing, and utilities are also included. Emotional support navigating the criminal justice system, including police departments, legal services, and the courts. Services take place at BUILD, in the community, and other locations as needed. The MMHCS is required to drive the MMH Van within the service area. The MMHCS reports directly to the Manager of Mobile Mental Health (MMMH).
