Requirements

  • Previous experience as an automotive or fleet maintenance technician preferred
  • Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance services and basic automotive repair
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical concerns
  • Diesel experience and fleet/commercial vehicle experience a plus
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a mobile service environment
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to accurately document services, inspections, and recommendations
  • Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site maintenance and minor repairs for fleet and commercial vehicles at customer locations
  • Conduct routine services including oil changes, filters, brakes, inspections, and preventative maintenance
  • Diagnose basic mechanical and electrical concerns using mobile diagnostic equipment
  • Complete work in accordance with Ford manufacturer standards and dealership procedures
  • Accurately document all services performed, inspections, and recommended repairs
  • Communicate clearly with service advisors, dispatch, and fleet customers regarding vehicle status and timelines
  • Ensure efficient service calls while maintaining high-quality workmanship
  • Maintain organization, cleanliness, and inventory of the mobile service vehicle
