About The Position

The Mobile Maintenance Technician reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for performing mechanical preventative maintenance, repair, building alterations, and monitoring building automation systems for all Building Authority buildings. This role involves a wide range of duties related to HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and general building maintenance.

Requirements

• EPA Certification.
• ACM Certification.
• High School Diploma.
• Valid Indiana Driver’s License.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Previous experience with pneumatic and electronic controls.
• Ability to work from ladders, lifts, and platforms at various heights, safely.
• Previous experience and working knowledge with building automation systems.
• Previous experience and working knowledge with the preventative maintenance, repair, and installation of all types of HVAC systems, refrigeration systems, and various plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance and repair for various types of HVAC systems, refrigeration equipment, and all plumbing systems.
• Performs preventative maintenance and repair of the smoke and fire evacuation system including dampers, fusible links, activators, and controls.
• Assists all Building Authority departments.
• Complies with Building Authority policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Cleans working area after assigned duties are complete.
• Performs snow removal.
