About The Position
American Para Professional Systems, Inc. is hiring a Mobile Phlebotomist in the Martinsville, Virginia area to perform mobile paramedical examinations for insurance applicants. The role includes collecting and storing blood and urine samples, taking health histories and vital signs, and supporting safe, organized mobile operations. The position is paid per case, with a stated pay range of $22.00–$29.00 per hour. It is a contract, part-time role with a schedule the worker chooses and work performed on the road.
Requirements
- Previous phlebotomy experience: 1 year or 1,000+ sticks; the posting also lists 1 year of phlebotomy experience as required.
- Ability to build rapport with patients.
- Familiarity with medical software and equipment.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license and insurance.
- Access to a mobile phone and a laptop or tablet with mobile Wi-Fi.
