About The Position
American Para Professional Systems, Inc. is hiring a Mobile Insurance Phlebotomist in the Lexington, Virginia area to conduct mobile paramedical exams for insurance applicants. The role involves collecting and storing blood and urine samples, taking health histories and vital signs, and maintaining supplies and a clean, healthy work environment while following laboratory safety procedures. Work is performed on the road, with a self-selected schedule and payment of $22.00–$29.00 per case. The position is described as contract and part-time. Requirements
- At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience or 1,000 or more blood draws.
- Ability to build rapport with patients.
- Familiarity with medical software and equipment.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license and insurance.
- Access to a mobile phone, laptop or tablet, and mobile Wi-Fi.
- Driver's license required.
