About The Position

Arnold Machinery Company is seeking a skilled, customer-focused Mobile Hydraulic Hose Technician to provide on-site hydraulic hose services to customers. The technician performs fast, efficient repairs and troubleshooting in the field while helping develop long-term customer relationships. The role uses a fully equipped mobile service vehicle and includes emergency after-hours service calls as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Hydraulic Hose Technician or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, fittings, hoses, and tools.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair systems in the field.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Technical certifications.
Certification in hydraulics or a related field.
Previous experience in mobile service operations.
Familiarity with specific hydraulic systems or brands.

Responsibilities

Perform on-site hydraulic hose inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.
Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
Replace, repair, and fabricate hydraulic hoses and fittings to customer specifications.
Operate a fully equipped mobile service vehicle to perform field repairs.
Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication at each service call.
Maintain vehicle inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
Accurately document service work performed and parts used.
Diagnose issues involving hydraulic pressure, performance, and leaks.
Educate customers on hydraulic system maintenance best practices.
Follow safety protocols during service operations.
Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and repair techniques.
Be available for emergency after-hours service calls as needed.
