About The Position

As the Mobile Hose Service Technician, you will travel to customer work locations to build hydraulic hose assemblies and install them on-site. This role involves operating and maintaining a mobile hydraulic hose van within an established territory, inspecting, identifying, measuring, and building hydraulic hoses on work sites, and removing and replacing hydraulic hoses on construction and industrial equipment. You will also be responsible for maintaining the mobile workshop and inventory, developing customer relationships, and prospecting for new business. Additionally, you will participate in the required safety program and work in a safe manner, with other duties as assigned by your manager.

Requirements

• Must be 21-years-old or older
• Valid, active driver's license
• Ability to clear driver screenings and provide necessary information for a complete DQ file, including but not limited to: Background check and MVR with less than 10 points
• DOT Physical
• Drug Screen
• Ability to become fork lift certified and adhere to all Yancey safety standards
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. repetitively and occasionally higher amounts with assistive device

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience with and basic knowledge of hydraulics beneficial
• Experience with hand tools
• Experience with hydraulic manufacturing machines beneficial

Responsibilities
