About The Position
ND Brown Ltd, a specialist vehicle hire company with over 40 years of experience, is seeking an experienced HGV Technician. The company serves the Utility, Civil Engineering, and Highway Maintenance Sectors with high-quality, modern vehicles. This role involves working at client sites on a range of commercial vehicles, including 4x4s, tippers, tipper grabs, and hot boxes (2.5 to 32 tonne GVM).
Requirements
- hold qualifications in HGV/Commercials Mechanics to the equivalent of NVQ Level 3/City of Guilds/Full Main Dealership Apprenticeship
Nice To Haves
- An understanding of using R2C is an advantage, but not essential as training will be given
- a full current driver’s licence and class 2 HGV licence would be beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Working on a range of Commercial Vehicles including 4X4, tippers, tipper grabs and hot boxes ranging from 2.5 to 32 tonne GVM.
- Carrying out vehicle inspections
- Vehicle servicing
- Breakdowns and repairs
- Out of hours call out 1 in 9
