Mobile Health Screening Nurse (Contractor)
About The Position
Looking for a new type of role using your nursing experience within a non-healthcare/clinical setting? Be a part of UHG where our Mobile Health Screening Consultants provide in-home and workplace health screening for the life insurance industry. This is a remote contractor role which means the benefits of managing your own schedule, workload and working close to home. We provide secure online access to a national marketplace of GP’s, Specialists, Nurses, Allied Health Professionals and more.
Requirements
- Enrolled or Registered Nurse with a solid medical and phlebotomy background (minimum 2 years)
- Valid registration with APHRA
- Ability to provide a high level of customer service that coincides with our business values
- Must have or be willing to obtain an ABN
- Required to have personal indemnity and public liability insurance
- Must hold a valid driver's license, car insurance and have a reliable vehicle as the health assessments are completed within a client's home or workplace
Responsibilities
- Meeting with our life insurance applicants in their home or workplace to conduct routine health screening assessments and pathology collection services
- Liaising with stakeholders in regard to stages of the screening process
- Updating head office every 24 hours on the progression of appointment stages via our bespoke platform, medEbridge.
- Using our bespoke platform, medEbridge to complete and finalise the bookings and results
