About The Position

All Star Rents is a family-owned equipment rental business established in 1962 and operated by the third generation of family members. With 13 locations, we provide sales and rentals of quality construction equipment, tools, and vehicles. This is a full-time hourly position that includes the use of a company vehicle and fuel card for work-related travel. Shifts regularly end at 5:30 PM.

Requirements

• 18 years or older with valid proof of eligibility to work in the US.
• Valid CA driver’s license with satisfactory record.
• Ability to lift 50lbs unaided.
• Ability to work in varying indoor/outdoor weather conditions.
• Minimum 5 years of heavy equipment maintenance, preferably in construction equipment.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with MEWP with a strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems.
• Computer Literacy- Typing and understanding computers/technology and basic software.
• Professional communication skills in English both written and verbal.
• A serious attitude towards safety in the workplace.
• Satisfactory Background check.
• Pass 4panel drug screening.

• Be a team player with a positive attitude that likes to have fun at work.

Nice To Haves

• Class A driver's license is a plus.
• Certifications for MEWP are a plus.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance/PM and Aerial quality control inspections on a variety of construction equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and perform repairs at customer sites and job locations.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Ensure service truck is stocked, organized, and maintain a clean work area.
• Provide excellent communication and customer service with customers, locations, and fleet mechanics as needed.
• Display the ability to have strong time management skills while working independently in the field.
• Loading and unloading equipment, making deliveries for customers as needed and assisting with safety regulations.
• Attending and assisting with training as applicable.
• Any tasks, processes, and procedures delegated by supervisor.
• Maintain professional appearance as a representative of All Star Rents.
