About The Position

Novelis Oswego has an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Equipment Technician! This role involves maintaining and repairing a fleet of mobile equipment, including fork trucks, vehicles, mobile lifts, and scooters, as well as performing preventative maintenance on this equipment.

Requirements

• 5 + years heavy equipment maintenance experience
• Diesel engine experience
• Basic fabrication and welding skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair brakes, hydraulics systems, electrical systems, transmissions, air conditioning systems etc.
• Ability to use meters and hand-held computers to diagnostics
• Ability to prioritize tasks to support manufacturing environment

Nice To Haves

• 2-year applicable degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair fleet of mobile equipment including fork trucks, vehicles, mobile lifts, scooters etc.
• Perform preventative maintenance on mobile equipment
