About The Position

We are currently seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator for our Paradise, TX plant on day shift. This role involves actively promoting safety awareness and continuous improvement, operating mobile equipment in a quarry or production setting, and complying with all industry safety rules and regulations. The operator will perform daily pre-shift inspections, maintain strong communication with plant employees, and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance
• Positive, Team-based attitude
• The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required.
• The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
• High school diploma or GED equivalent

Responsibilities

• Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition
• Operate one piece of mobile equipment (haul truck, farm tractor, water truck, rubber tire backhoe, front loader, etc.)
• Operate equipment in quarry or production
• Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations.
• Perform daily pre-shift equipment and workplace inspections to maintain equipment performance
• Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators
• Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned
