About The Position

We are currently seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator for our Paradise, TX plant on day shift. This role involves actively promoting safety awareness and continuous improvement, operating mobile equipment in quarry or production environments, and complying with all safety regulations. The position requires performing daily inspections, maintaining communication with other employees, and undertaking other assigned duties. The work environment can involve varied outdoor conditions, and while most equipment is air-conditioned, some tasks may require working in all weather conditions.

Requirements

Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance
Positive, Team-based attitude
The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required.
The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
High school diploma or GED equivalent

Responsibilities

Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition
Operate one piece of mobile equipment (haul truck, farm tractor, water truck, rubber tire backhoe, front loader, etc.)
Operate equipment in quarry or production
Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations.
Perform daily pre-shift equipment and workplace inspections to maintain equipment performance
Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators
Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned
