About The Position

This role involves operating mobile equipment in a foundry environment. The operator will be responsible for moving materials, including hoppers filled with sand, and unloading trucks. A key part of the job is cleaning up the sand around the shakeout area using a bobcat. The position requires adherence to safety guidelines and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Requirements

• Forklift and Bobcat experience
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and protocols for wearing PPE
• Ability to do a combination of sitting and standing for the duration of shift
• Ability to bend, kneel, and squat
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Drive forklift and bobcat in close quarters
• Move hoppers filled with sand
• Unload trucks of material to make steel castings
• Clean up sand around shakeout area with the bobcat
• Other duties as assigned
