About The Position
The Mobile Equipment Operator 2 position is a valuable part of the Red River, Atchafalaya & Bayou Boeuf Levee District because of their function of work to operate equipment and perform incidental repair, levee board projects and other construction tasks. Assist other RRABB employees in completing levee board projects. This incumbent will work under the supervision of Levee Foreman B.
Requirements
- One year of experience in mobile equipment operations.
Responsibilities
- Operates tractors with cutters to mow and grade levees (>100 hp).
- Performs incidental repair, levee inspections, levee board projects and other construction tasks.
- Assist other RRABB employees in equipment maintenance and repair.
- Operates auxiliary equipment including but not limited to welders, torches, small power equipment, dump trucks, backhoes or any other equipment listed for lower graded operators’ positions.
- Operate crew truck traveling to work locations.
