About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Mobile Equipment Operator to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in our supply chain by efficiently operating heavy machinery—including knucklebooms, wheel loaders, and front-end loaders—to ensure the seamless movement, processing, and storage of materials. You will be responsible for maintaining equipment standards, ensuring operational safety, and supporting our facility’s daily production goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience operating heavy mobile equipment (e.g., knuckleboom, wheel loader, front-end loader).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Candidates for Level 3 will receive comprehensive training to achieve the qualifications and proficiency standards of a Level 2 Operator.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently load, unload, sort, and transport materials to and from processing areas, railroad cars, trucks, and storage bins.
  • Skillfully operate levers, pedals, and lifting devices to maneuver heavy loads safely and accurately.
  • Perform daily inspections, fueling, and cleaning. Document mechanical performance and proactively report maintenance needs to ensure equipment longevity and safety.
  • Assist in hazardous waste handling/shipping processes and participate in physical inventory counts to maintain accurate stock records.
  • Actively contribute to our site safety culture by following all protocols and participating in company-wide safety programs.
