About The Position
The Mobile Equipment Operation 1/Heavy is a valuable part of the Natchitoches Levee and Drainage District. The position will be responsible for operating Excavator, backhoe, motor patrol gallon 100 hp, freightliner dump truck. The role involves spreading and leveling dirt on levees and bayou banks, cleaning trees on bayou banks and encroachments on levees, and doing repair work on levees by filling in holes and dressing out slopes. Additionally, the operator will cut grass on the levee using a tractor with a cutter and apply herbicides for weed control on all levees around flood gates and fences, as well as paint all structures and flood gates.
Requirements
- Two years of experience in mobile equipment operations.
