About The Position

OTC Fleet Services is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician to support our growing fleet customer base across Lancaster, York, and Berks County. This role is focused on consistent fleet work — not random retail jobs. You’ll be working independently in the field, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of commercial vehicles and equipment. Requirements

  • 5+ years experience as a technician
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Ability to pass DOT physical
  • Must provide own hand tools
  • Strong experience with diesel, gas, and/or equipment repair
  • State Inspection License (preferred or required based on role)
  • Strong diagnostic ability (this is not an entry-level role)
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (REQUIRED)
  • Ability to work independently and self-manage
  • Comfortable working in mobile/on-site environments
  • Takes pride in quality work and productivity
  • Maintains a clean and organized service truck

Nice To Haves

  • CDL (pay increase available)
  • Welding / fabrication experience
  • Experience with heavy equipment or hydraulic systems

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair (including but not limited to): Diesel, gas, and LP-powered vehicles, Medium & heavy-duty trucks (including Class 8), Equipment and fleet vehicles (including 6–48 volt systems)
  • Perform: Preventative maintenance (PMs), Advanced diagnostics (electrical REQUIRED), Hydraulic repairs, Breakdown and roadside service
  • Complete work orders using company-provided tablet/software (Fullbay)
  • Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and work environment
  • Deliver high-quality, efficient work for fleet customers
