The company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Diesel Technician with a minimum of 5 years in the diesel repair industry. The ideal candidate will be proficient in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of diesel-powered vehicles and equipment, while providing professional on-site customer service.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a diesel technician
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, drivetrains, fuel systems, and diagnostic procedures.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in the field and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Proven work ethic, reliability, and a track record of job stability
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly with customers
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow under management coaching
Nice To Haves
- ASE Medium/Heavy Truck Certification(s) or OEM training preferred.
- CDL a plus.
- Mobile service experience.
Responsibilities
- Travel to customer locations to perform scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic issues in diesel engines, heavy trucks, and equipment.
- Perform services such as engine repairs, brake work, fuel system maintenance, transmission service, and other general diesel repairs.
- Operate diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues.
- Provide clear, accurate estimates and explain repair needs to customers.
- Maintain accurate service records and parts usage documentation.
- Keep mobile work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to build strong client relationships.
