Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform licensed DOT inspections, Preventative Maintenance inspections, light and follow-up repairs, and light mechanical/hydraulic/electrical and electronic diagnostics. This role involves performing more advanced diagnostics and repairs under supervision, continuing to learn advanced mechanical skills and diagnostic techniques, and achieving high performance metrics while complying with company policies. The technician will work in a mobile/field environment, performing maintenance and repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles, including various truck equipment systems. Responsibilities include diagnosing malfunctions using test instruments, road testing vehicles, managing parts inventory, operating and maintaining a company-issued service vehicle, and documenting work performed using a company-issued iOS device and the TRAIT application. The technician will also communicate with clients and management, manage concurrent tasks, use various tools and equipment, and adhere to organizational safety, health, and environmental policies.
