About The Position

As a Senior Software Engineer, Mobile (React Native), you will design, develop, and maintain secure cross-platform applications for iOS and Android using React Native, TypeScript, and modern mobile frameworks. Supporting more than 30 million active users and billions of annual financial transactions, you will help modernize Fiserv’s mobile platform and deliver innovative digital financial experiences at scale. This role is on-site Monday through Friday, with approximately 10% travel off-site or to other office locations expected. Applicants must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization; candidates requiring sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional mobile application development experience, including 4+ years building and deploying production-grade React Native applications.
• Strong expertise in React Native, JavaScript, TypeScript, hooks, component architecture, navigation, and state management.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and third-party SDKs.
• Knowledge of mobile application architecture patterns and scalable design principles.
• Experience with mobile security, encryption, secure storage, authentication, and data protection standards.
• Experience publishing and maintaining applications in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization; candidates requiring sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered.

Nice To Haves

• Experience developing native mobile applications with Swift and/or Kotlin and building custom React Native modules and bridges.
• Knowledge of React Native New Architecture, including TurboModules and Fabric.
• Experience with Expo, CodePush, Firebase, Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox, or Appium.
• Experience with cloud platforms, analytics, crash reporting, observability, and mobile performance monitoring.
• Fintech, banking, payments, digital wallet, PCI-regulated, or large-scale consumer mobile application experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native and TypeScript.
• Build reusable components, screens, libraries, and platform-specific native modules that support scalable application development.
• Collaborate with Product, UX/UI, Backend Engineering, native mobile, and QA teams in an Agile environment.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party SDKs, payment services, and financial technology platforms.
• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, memory usage, reliability, localization, and multi-language experiences.
• Implement secure authentication, encryption, data protection, and PCI compliance best practices.
• Manage state, CI/CD pipelines, releases, analytics, monitoring, and push notification services using modern tools and frameworks.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, sprint planning, and architectural decision-making.
