Mobile Crisis QMHP
About The Position
Joining Estelles PCS: We believe in providing the best service possible to our clients and our staff. As a contracted QMHP-A you will be working in a 2 person team to provide mobile crisis response. In this position you will have the opportunity to assist individuals who are in crisis and need assistance with either stepping up or stepping down to more appropriate services. Mobile Crisis Response services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to provide for rapid response, assessment and early intervention to individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis. Services are deployed in real-time to the location of the individual experiencing a behavioral health crisis. The purpose of this service is to i) de-escalate the behavioral health crisis and prevent harm to the individual or others; ii) assist in the prevention of an individual’s acute exacerbation of symptoms; iii) development of an immediate plan to maintain safety; and iv) coordination of care and linking to appropriate treatment services to meet the needs of the individual. The service is approved for 8 hours (32 units).
Requirements
- Registered QMHP or QMHP-Trainee.
- Completed the required state approved Adult mobile crisis training.
Responsibilities
- Provide mobile crisis response as part of a 2-person team.
- Assist individuals experiencing a crisis.
- Complete Individualized service plans.
- Complete daily progress notes.
- Complete discharge summaries.
- Complete other clinical documentation as needed.
- Attend mandatory trainings and supervisions.
