Mobile Crisis Practitioner - Chaska, MN
About The Position
This position is responsible for answering phones to triage and determine the need for mobile crisis response, providing diagnostic and crisis assessment, crisis intervention and additional therapeutic services as indicated, as a member of a mobile crisis response team. Services are provided in-home (Mobile Crisis Response), office-based, and telehealth. Canvas Health's mission is to bring hope, healing, and recovery to people's lives. Our integrated programs and services offer coordinated care to people of all ages in their homes, the community, and in our clinics. Canvas Health is a non-profit, Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) specializing in serving clients who are on Medicaid.
Requirements
- Possess a bachelor's degree or higher in behavioral sciences
- Completed 2,000 or more hours of delivering supervised services to clients with mental illness, substance use disorder, or emotional disturbance
- Currently serving a federally recognized tribe and meets the definition of "vendor of medical care."
