Riverside Community Care is seeking a Master’s level Clinician to join the Community Behavioral Health Center’s (CBHC) Mobile Crisis Intervention (MCI) program. The MCI program provides crisis intervention services 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, either on-site or mobile, to individuals experiencing mental health and/or substance use challenges. The program's mission is to respond rapidly, assess effectively, and deliver treatment to promote recovery, ensure safety, and stabilize crises, enabling individuals to receive necessary services in the community or, if medically necessary, in an inpatient or 24-hour diversionary level of care. The MCI clinician works within a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, behavioral health clinicians, certified peer specialists, and recovery coaches, to provide core services such as crisis assessment, intervention, stabilization, and post-stabilization. The role is integral to the daily operations of the MCI component, with primary duties including telephone triage, crisis intervention (evaluation, stabilization, referral, and follow-up) on-site and in the community. The clinician also serves as a liaison between the MCI team and community providers to ensure continuity of care. Orientation to MCI is provided, focusing on diagnosis, safety assessment, and resource awareness based on the level of care. Clinical supervision is offered, including licensure track hours for eligible employees. Riverside also provides an extensive staff training program with CEUs.
