Riverside Community Care is seeking a Master’s level Clinician to join the Community Behavioral Health Center’s (CBHC) Mobile Crisis Intervention (MCI) program. The MCI program provides crisis intervention services 24/7, either on-site or mobile, to individuals experiencing mental health and/or substance use challenges. The program's mission is to rapidly respond, effectively assess, and deliver treatment to promote recovery, ensure safety, and stabilize crises, enabling individuals to receive necessary community-based services or inpatient care if medically required. The MCI clinician is part of a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, behavioral health clinicians, certified peer specialists, and recovery coaches, offering core services such as crisis assessment, intervention, stabilization, and post-stabilization. Primary duties involve telephone triage, crisis intervention (evaluation, stabilization, referral, and follow-up) both on-site and in the community, and serving as a liaison between the MCI team and community providers for continuity of care. Orientation includes training on diagnosis, safety assessment, and resource awareness based on the level of care. Clinical supervision is provided, including licensure track hours for eligible employees. Riverside also offers an outstanding staff training program with CEUs.
