About The Position

This position answers calls to triage and determine whether a mobile crisis response is needed. As a member of a mobile crisis response team, the clinician provides diagnostic and crisis assessments, crisis intervention, and additional therapeutic services as indicated. Services are delivered in clients’ homes, in an office, and through telehealth. The position is based in Shakopee, Minnesota, with a Monday–Friday schedule, typically between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Canvas Health is a nonprofit Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic specializing in serving clients who are on Medicaid. Its integrated mental health and substance use disorder programs provide coordinated care in clients’ homes, the community, and clinics. Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or Clinical Counseling.
• Current and valid Minnesota state licensure as an LICSW, LMFT, LP, or LPCC.

• Experience working with and/or delivering services to diverse populations.
• Experience delivering in-home or crisis services.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and triage calls to determine the need for mobile crisis response.
• Provide diagnostic and crisis assessments.

• Up to $5,000 retention bonus, with $2,500 paid after six months and the balance after twelve months, subject to eligibility and continued employment in the position.
