About The Position

The Company B2Gold is a responsible international senior gold producer headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. Founded in 2007, today, B2Gold has operating gold mines in Mali, Namibia and the Philippines, the Goose Project under construction in northern Canada, and numerous development and exploration projects in various countries including Mali, Colombia and Finland. Position Mobile Crane Operator, Nunavut. Location and Reporting Structure Reporting to the Supervisor, Cranes, this position will be a fly in- fly out 3x3 rotation based in Nunavut, Canada.

Requirements

Five (5 ) years' crane operation experience in Civil works, construction, open pit or mining related industry required.
Valid High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Valid Crane Operator Certification required.

Nice To Haves

National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators NCCCO) certificate would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Operate mobile cranes to safely lift, move, and position materials in accordance with site procedures and safety standards.
Communicate effectively using radios, hand signals, and other systems to coordinate crane operations with ground personnel.
Conduct pre- and post-operational inspections, including load calculations and rigging assessments, to ensure safe crane functionality.
Support routine maintenance by cleaning, lubricating, and reporting equipment issues or deficiencies to the supervisor.
Maintain rigging supplies and ensure the crane work area remains clean, organized, and hazard-free.
Participate in safety meetings and comply with all site-specific safety policies; operate other machinery as required.
Support for equipment operations across various departments will be required as part of this role.
