Responsible for assisting with operational maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, housekeeping, and repairs on commercial/industrial buildings, industrial systems, grounds, and maintenance equipment for assigned properties/facilities. This role involves inspecting, calibrating, maintaining, troubleshooting, testing, and repairing various facility systems including HVAC, electrical, lighting, fire, life safety, boilers, refrigeration units, compressors, motors, and pumps, along with their associated controls. The technician will also provide facility maintenance services such as carpentry, plumbing, painting, and snow removal to ensure the upkeep of client building infrastructure and grounds. A key part of the role includes utilizing a CMMS system for documenting tasks, maintaining equipment histories, and managing work orders. The technician must adhere to safety training, national and local codes, OSHA requirements, and company safety policies, while maintaining a professional demeanor and communicating effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and customer representatives.
