About The Position

Capgemini is seeking a QA Engineer with strong hands-on experience in API/Mobile Manual Testing and Automation within a Retail/E-commerce environment. This role is focused on Mobile Testing, data integrity, and end-to-end retail transactions, using specified tools across test execution, automation, and debugging. The position is an onsite role based in Camp Hill, PA.

Requirements

• Experience in functional digital/Mobile testing.
• Strong understanding of retail transaction flows and hands-on experience in Mobile Application Testing (iOS & Android).
• Experience using HTTP Proxy applications: Charles/Fiddler or similar tools.
• Experience with Mobile devl tools (Android Studio/Xcode).
• Experience with Test/defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Testrail).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with test automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with databases (SQL queries for backend validation).
• Expertise in Appium Mobile Automation Framework.
• Strong experience with Java, Maven, TestNG/JUnit.
• Experience in Mobile Manual Testing using Postman.
• Experience in Mobile Automation using Appium/Java/Test NG or equivalent frameworks.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, Mobile Testing (iOS/Android/Web), OAuth, JWT, JSON, and API integrations.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Cruise Control, GitHub Actions, or similar.
• Experience with network debugging tools such as Proxyman or Charles Proxy.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Retail/E-commerce domain experience.
• Experience testing Store Operations, or Omnichannel retail applications.
• Experience with cloud-based device platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, LambdaTest).
• Knowledge of mobile app release processes for App Store and Google Play Store.
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber) and reporting tools such as Allure or Extent Reports.
• Retail Domain Testing.
• Experience in Retail/E-commerce systems.
• Understanding of Cart, checkout, order lifecycle, Pricing, promotions, and loyalty systems (CrowdTwist).
• Perform API-to-database validation and cross-system reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Web / Mobile systems.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing of Web/Mobile applications.
• Validate integrations with payment gateways, inventory systems, loyalty/rewards, and back-office applications.
• Conduct end-to-end transaction testing (web, cash, credit/debit, mobile wallets, discounts, returns, voids, etc.).
• Log defects, track resolution, and perform retesting.
• Support automation of Mobile (iOS/Android) test scenarios where applicable.
• Ensure testing aligns with compliance standards.
• Provide detailed test reports and recommend improvements.
