Mobile Associate
About The Position
The Mobile Associate supports retail operations by engaging customers and helping meet their technology and service needs in a fast-paced environment. The role builds product knowledge, demonstrates technology solutions, and assists customers throughout their shopping journey. It develops skills in customer interaction, digital tool usage, and service plan recommendations. Success is measured by customer satisfaction, product knowledge, and effective use of digital resources, while fostering customer relationships and loyalty. Mobile Associates receive on-the-job training during their first 90 days and, after completing training, promote to the Mobile Expert role. The position pays a $19.50 hourly base rate, plus $5.00 per hour in training pay during the training period. Employees are guaranteed to earn $20 per hour inclusive of base pay and incentives. Mobile Experts are eligible for an annualized incentive target of $18,000, with actual incentives varying based on performance and full-time status. Employees are eligible for an annual stock grant.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Required skills: change agility, communication, customer problem solving, customer service, engaging people, multitasking, sales, and teamwork orientation.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- Six months of customer service and/or sales experience in a retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop proficiency in customer service and sales to deliver personalized technology and service solutions that meet individual needs.
- Use digital tools to demonstrate network coverage, service plans, and product features to enhance customer understanding and engagement.
- Complete required training to build knowledge of retail processes, systems, and wireless technology innovations.
- Collaborate with colleagues across channels to support a seamless customer experience and contribute to team initiatives.
- Perform other duties or projects as assigned by business management.
