About The Position

Mobile Associates work as members of a Retail Team of Experts to represent the T-Mobile brand, build excitement around its products and services, and create strong customer relationships. This is a learning role for associates who are developing the skills and proficiencies needed to advance to Mobile Expert. New associates must successfully complete employee training. During the first 90 days, they receive on-the-job training and are eligible for hourly training pay; after completing training, they promote to Mobile Expert and become eligible for an annualized incentive target of $18,000. Actual incentives vary by performance and full-time status. T-Mobile guarantees employees at least $20 per hour inclusive of base pay and incentives. The hourly base pay is $18, plus $5 per hour in training pay during the training period. The role focuses on helping customers find technology and service solutions suited to their needs, demonstrating products, and providing a positive, seamless retail experience. Associates use digital tools, learn about wireless and technology innovations, and collaborate with colleagues across sales, business, and customer service. The posting notes that Spanish is preferred. Travel is not required, and the role is not DOT-regulated or safety-sensitive.
