About The Position
Behavioral Health Connections, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Assessor PRN to provide mental health assessments for contracted emergency rooms and hospitals in the Baytown area and around East Houston, Texas. This is not a remote position and requires travel to areas including Baytown, Clear Lake, League City, Pasadena, Deer Park, La Porte, and Mount Belvieu. The assessor evaluates patients, recommends an appropriate level of treatment based on assessed risk factors, and triages patients to appropriate services. BHC provides crisis mental health evaluations to people across age groups, with a 24/7 response model that includes holidays.
Requirements
- Degree in Nursing or a master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health, or a related field.
- Current Texas license as an LPC, LMFT, LMSW, LCSW, or RN.
- Current CPR certification if required by the customer hospital.
- Valid driver's license.
- Completion of an appropriate internship, including individual, group, or family therapy/counseling.
- Experience providing individual, group, and family therapy/counseling.
