About The Position

As part of the Mobile team, you will work on building the next generation of DeFi trading applications. You'll primarily work on our React Native mobile app, collaborating closely with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering teams to deliver a fast, reliable, and intuitive trading experience. This role is ideal for a junior to mid-level engineer with strong React and TypeScript fundamentals who enjoys building high-quality mobile products. We're looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, takes ownership of their work, and enjoys solving real-world problems. Most importantly, this role is for someone genuinely passionate about building exceptional user experiences and excited by the future of decentralized finance.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong React and TypeScript fundamentals.
• Professional experience developing mobile applications with React Native.
• Solid understanding of iOS and Android platforms, including their differences and mobile development best practices.
• Experience integrating applications with backend APIs.
• Experience with Node.js.
• Experience working with REST APIs.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals and clean code principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with gRPC and/or Server-Sent Events (SSE) is a strong plus.
• Experience building fintech, trading, or cryptocurrency applications.
• Familiarity with blockchain, Web3, or DeFi technologies.
• Experience publishing applications to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Experience optimizing mobile application performance and debugging production issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve features for our React Native mobile application.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering teams to deliver high-quality user experiences.
• Build scalable, maintainable, and well-tested mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript.
• Integrate mobile applications with backend APIs and services.
• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and reliability across both iOS and Android platforms.
• Monitor and triage issues reported through Linear, investigate bugs, and work closely with the team to prioritize and resolve them in a timely manner.
• Take ownership of reported issues by troubleshooting root causes and delivering reliable fixes to ensure a stable, high-quality mobile experience.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Stay up to date with modern mobile development practices and emerging technologies.
