About The Position

Are you an experienced Allison Transmission Diesel Technician? We are looking for a Mobile Allison Transmission Technician to keep up our level of commitment to safety and customer service. This is a great opportunity for a knowledgeable Allison Transmission Technician to apply his or her skills in a company that offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits. When you work with Clarke, you work with an industry leader! Repairs out of a Service Truck (ability to take home – negotiable). Working out of customer locations. Working mostly out of Triad, Asheville & surrounding areas.

Requirements

• 3-5 years relevant experience required
• Allison, Eaton or proprietary OEM transmissions experience required
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the last 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years (ie., DUI/DWI).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• Must be able to obtain DOT Med Card

Nice To Haves

• Allison transmission Certificate a HUGE PLUS
• Hybrid transmissions a HUGE plus
• CDL is a plus
• Certifications preferred
• Certificate from college or technical school Preferred

Responsibilities

• Repairs out of a Service Truck (ability to take home – negotiable)
• Working out of customer locations
• Truck Transmission inspection & repair
• Paperwork and repair order documentation
• Basic computer skills & good verbal communication required
• Assist other technicians (in shop) when needed
• Must be able to work independently
