Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of a formal automotive technician training program or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of Ford transmission diagnostic and rebuilds
Strong diagnostic abilities, which are essential for accurately identifying transmission issues and determining the best course of action for repairs.
Attention to detail is crucial, as technicians must ensure that all repairs meet safety and quality standards.
Effective communication skills are also important, as you will need to explain complex technical issues to customers and collaborate with team members.
Familiarity with automotive technology and tools will be utilized daily to perform repairs efficiently and effectively.

Nice To Haves

Experience working specifically with Ford vehicles and their transmission systems.
Additional certifications in automotive technology or specialized training in transmission repair.
Proficiency in using diagnostic software and tools specific to Ford vehicles.
