Responsible for collecting, processing, and testing patient specimens for the diagnosis and treatment of disease. This role involves performing routine waived, moderately, and high complex testing, collecting and processing specimens (including blood, urine, fecal, body fluid) for analysis in all departments of the clinical laboratory. The position also requires evaluating and solving problems related to specimen collection and processing, preparing samples for testing, sending samples to reference laboratories, maintaining laboratory equipment and stocking supplies, performing complex laboratory procedures, recognizing and correcting deviations from expected results, analyzing quality control data, and assisting in troubleshooting and instrument maintenance. Participation in training programs is also expected.
