About The Position

Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma (DLO) is seeking a full-time MLS/MLT I to work 10-hour night shifts, Sunday-Wednesday from 2100-0700, with rotating holidays. This position is located in Edmond, OK. The role involves performing routine testing in various laboratory departments and assisting with specimen processing. The ideal candidate will maintain a positive and professional attitude, work collaboratively with team members, and adhere to employer policies. Additional duties may include assisting supervisors with special projects.

Requirements

AS degree in Medical Lab Technology or BS in Medical Technology.
ASCP MT/MLT certification or equivalent or be eligible for national MT/MLT certification.
Ability to maintain a professional, courteous and pleasant attitude in times of heavy workload and stress.
Reflect the company’s values in all aspects of performance.
Teamwork with fellow employees is a must.
Keyboard skills are important.
Good customer service skills, professional appearance and attitude are required.
Must be willing to work overtime or other shifts if required.

Responsibilities

Perform routine testing in blood bank, chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, serology, coagulation, and microbiology.
Assist with specimen processing as needed.
Follow employer policies.
Work with fellow employees in a professional, productive manner.
Perform instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
Perform duties in the clinical laboratory.
Assist supervisor/manager with special projects/assignments.
