About The Position

This role involves performing routine laboratory testing using analyzers and other laboratory equipment. Key responsibilities include running standards and controls, performing quality control, and troubleshooting equipment issues. The position also requires analyzing blood cells using microscopic techniques, performing blood typing, grouping, and compatibility testing for transfusions, and calibrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting laboratory equipment. Additionally, the role involves monitoring laboratory supplies and equipment inventory, documenting, analyzing, and reporting laboratory findings, and following standardized procedures and manufacturer guidelines. Other related laboratory duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• 2+ years of MLT experience – Required.
• ASCP certification – Required.
• Recent blood bank experience – Required.
