About The Position

As a ML/DevOps Engineer specializing in cyber security, you will architect, automate, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure. You will serve as a subject-matter expert on secure ML/DevOps (DevSecOps) practices, supporting infrastructure resilience, compliance, and rapid delivery of high-quality software. The role includes securing cloud and container environments, supporting AI/ML tooling, monitoring systems, assessing risks, and collaborating with security and engineering teams. You will also coach development teams on secure practices and recommend improvements to tools and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Engineering with demonstrable security responsibilities.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform; AWS is preferred.
  • Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation and with CI/CD platforms.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
  • Deep understanding of networking, Docker, and Kubernetes/EKS.
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and identity and access management.
  • Familiarity with log aggregation, metrics, and alerting stacks such as ELK, Prometheus, or Grafana.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA, or CISSP.
  • Experience with security platforms such as Aqua, Prisma Cloud, Snyk, or similar.
  • Knowledge of zero-trust architectures and secure SDLC frameworks.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks in regulated industries such as healthcare or finance.
  • Experience with infrastructure cost optimization and FinOps practices.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage scalable, secure CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Implement and maintain security controls across cloud environments, including IAM, network segmentation, and encryption in transit and at rest.
  • Work with AI/ML tooling, including model servers, vector databases, GPU monitoring, agent orchestration, and model registries.
  • Harden Docker images, manage Kubernetes security policies, and integrate container-scanning tools.
  • Deploy observability solutions to track system health, performance, and security posture; respond to alerts and conduct root-cause analysis.
  • Evaluate infrastructure changes for vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation measures.
  • Align infrastructure and processes with SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and other relevant standards, and generate audit evidence.
  • Maintain vulnerability-scanning and supply-chain hygiene, and role-based access for AI coding tools or agentic wrappers.
  • Partner with security and engineering teams on incident detection, triage, and post-mortem analysis.
  • Coach development teams on secure coding and deployment practices and advocate for a DevSecOps culture.
  • Monitor emerging DevOps and security trends and implement tool and process enhancements.
