About The Position

The MJF Finisher is responsible for finishing parts per the job sheet requirements and/or supplied drawings. Parts are to be finished at a high quality and must meet customer expectations. This role involves close collaboration with the MJF Lead, Project Technicians, and the Quality Department to ensure all work instructions are followed precisely. The finisher will visually inspect parts for defects, use various hand tools and techniques to achieve the required finishing level, and reject any parts that do not meet customer standards. Maintaining a safe and positive work environment is also a key aspect of this position, along with assisting in various production stages as needed and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to read, understand, and execute work with detailed job instructions.
Excellent hand skills and coordination.

Ability to work within a team as well as individually.

Nice To Haves

A minimum of 1 year of related work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Work closely with the MJF Lead, Project Technicians and the Quality Department.
Perform work instructions as detailed on the job sheet.
Compare actual part to job sheet/drawing to verify existence of features, basic measurements and insert locations.
Visually inspect parts for defect.
Finish parts utilizing various hand tools and techniques to a finishing level which meets customers specified quality standard.
Reject any parts that cannot meet the customer’s needs.
Notify the MJF Lead of any questionable parts.
Maintain a safe work environment.
Promote a positive work environment.
Assist in various stages of production as needed.
Other duties, tasks, and responsibilities that may be assigned at any time.
