About The Position

The Mixing Production Manager will manage and direct the operations of the assigned Mixing Department, ensuring efficient delivery and quality of products and services to clients. This role is responsible for setting and meeting goals and budget plans for Cost, Quality, Waste, Safety, and Output. The manager will be involved in planning Capital Expenditures and Process Improvements, and will assure adherence to plant procedures and policies. They will support business team (BT) activities, quality improvements, and defective product run department day-to-day operations, maintaining efficient low cost, high quality output. The role involves communicating and reviewing the performance of direct reports, leading process improvements, qualifying/uniformity, cost reduction, reduction of process variation, and leading house functions. Responsibilities include budget planning and accomplishment, attending weekly BT 4 meetings, maintaining employee involvement, analyzing BOB Process (Machine vs. Actual), analyzing gaps in BOB Process, proposing Capital Investment to close gaps, capital expenditures project planning and implementation, and ensuring all ESH procedures, policies, and legal requirements are implemented and monitored. Note: This role may not be inclusive of all work required and may be updated as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 10+ years of experience in Manufacturing Operations
  • 18 months experience of leading people (including matrix/indirect reporting) or project leader experience.
  • Min. 5 years experience in leading people, teams and mid size volume projects
  • Experience in international / matrix organizations.
  • Fluent English.
  • International assignment experience for at least 2 years.
  • Internal qualified candidates will meet internal guidelines for this executive level role
  • Continental is able to offer visa support for internal candidates.
  • Relocation may be possible for this position.
