About The Position

Sloomoo Institute is a rapidly growing interactive experience based on play, #satisfying through handmade slime, tapping into the senses, and ASMR. We are an art-inspired, immersive haven of color, design, and joy. Launched in 2019, Sloomoo Institute now has 5 locations and has been an enormous success, attracting over 1 million guests and billions of media impressions. Our fifth location opened in Los Angeles in 2024 and is already exceeding all expectations. With more domestic and international growth on the near horizon, the future is very bright. Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment.
• Ability to follow detailed slime recipes and instructions with precision to achieve consistent, high-quality products.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and quality standards.
• Comfortable working with hands-on materials, lifting boxes or supplies, and standing for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• A love for creativity and tactile experiences is a plus.
• Previous experience in recipe-based production environments strongly preferred, including: Specialty coffee shops or craft beverage programs, Bakeries, pastry shops, or cookie production, Smoothie, juice, or specialty beverage preparation, Food, beverage, cosmetic, or manufacturing environments requiring precise measuring, mixing, and batch production, Any specialized role where consistency, quality control, and recipe adherence are critical.
• Experience with inventory tracking, batch logs, production records, or quality control processes is a plus.
• Candidates from highly automated, assembly-line style food service environments may be less aligned with this role. We are seeking individuals with experience creating products from recipes, formulas, or specialized preparation processes.

Responsibilities

• Mix and prepare different types of slime according to Sloomoo’s recipes and specifications. Ensure consistency, texture, and quality of the slime products.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining slime-related exhibits and installations. Help to ensure that all materials are stocked and ready for visitor engagement.
• Regularly inspect slime supplies for quality and safety, ensuring all materials meet institute standards. Troubleshoot and address any issues with slime consistency or guest satisfaction.
• Support in organizing slime-making events, workshops, and special activities. Provide hands-on support for groups and ensure smooth execution of events.
• Adhere to safety protocols when handling materials and equipment. Ensure that guests can interact with Slime in a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment.
• Additional duties as assigned.
