About The Position

As a Mixer, you will be responsible for preparing and mixing batters, doughs, and fillings according to company recipes and production schedules. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to quality standards, and a commitment to food safety and sanitation. The ideal candidate is experienced in food manufacturing, organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Possess basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication).
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to work well in a busy environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Professional demeanor and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Good attendance and punctuality are crucial.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Production Manager.

Nice To Haves

  • Proven experience in food manufacturing or commercial baking preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Complete and deliver all batch forms and document each process.
  • Keep and supervise work area, tools, and supplies organized and sanitary throughout the shift.
  • Work with quality systems such as HACCP and GMPs.
  • Maintain knowledge of ingredient control and FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.
  • Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices.
  • Operate and sanitize all bakery equipment in a safe and proper manner.
  • Follow sanitation protocol to clean as you go and clean equipment after use.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager.
